Ten-Day Online Textual Workshop on Nyaya Response to Shankara’s Advaita
‘Attribute-less Consciousness’ (Brahman) is the only Reality. The World of plurality of our experience is unreal and the individual selves are nothing but the same Brahman’ is the essence of Shankaracharya’s Advaita Philosophy.
All the systems of Vedanta other than that of Shankara have contested this philosophical position of Shankara. A great logician and a realist philosopher, Jayantabhatta of Kashmir (9th century AD), had responded to Shankara’s Advaita called Brahma-Advaita in his work called Nyayamanjari.
We are going to offer an online Ten-Day Textual Workshop in which we will read the Critique by Jayantabhatta.
The Workshop will begin on 20th July, 2021 at 6.30PM IST.
