Sanskrit Through The Bhagavad-Gita

This course is designed to introduce the learners with the basic structure of the Sanskrit Language.
 
Direct method of ‘Usage to Rule’ will be followed. For this the Bhagavad-Gita will remain the basis. We will read the philosophical text, the Gita with a focus on discovering the grammatical structure of the Sanskrit Language. We will learn the language and the philosophical content of the text simultaneously. This will make learning enjoyable.

The course is designed in Eight Levels as follows :
Level-0 : Introduction
Level-1 : Sandhi (सन्धि)
Level-2 : Syntax (कारक)
Level-3 : Case Forms (सुबन्त)
Level-4 : Verbal Forms (तिङन्त)
Level-5 : Primary Derivatives (कृदन्त)
Level-6 : Secondary Derivatives (तद्धितान्त)
Level-7 : Compounds (समस्त)
Level-8 : Indeclinable (अव्यय)  
 
Target: At the end of these nine levels, the learners are expected to read and understand the structure of Sanskrit of the Bhagavadgita in particular, and of any other texts written in Classical Sanskrit in general.
